Wildwood 261BHXL Travel Trailer HOW TO MAKE A RENTAL RESERVATION: Reservations must be made in our office either in person, by mail, or by fax. Reservations will be accepted by telephone but will not be confirmed until the Reservation Fee, either paid by Cashier's Check or Money Order is received. RESERVATION FEE: A $500.00 deposit per week is required at the time the reservation is made. This fee will not be included as part of the Rental Fee. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: At the time of pick up, your Reservation Fee becomes your damage deposit. This deposit will not be included as part of the Rental Fee. CANCELLATIONS: From time to time a cancellation notice is received. In order for the Reservation Fee to be refundable, the trailer will have to be re-rented to another customer. If there is sufficient time to re-rent the trailer, all or part of the Reservation Fee will be refunded depending on the number of days that the trailer is re-rented. Otherwise, the deposit will be held for another open date to be determined at a later time. INSURANCE: The renter must show proof of liability insurance and a valid driver's license since he is responsible while using the trailer. ALL DRIVERS MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD. If damage is incurred, you must turn the damages in to your liability insurance company. Customer is responsible for a $500.00 deductable for damages to unit. Any portion of the deductable paid by customers insurance will be deducted from the $500.00 deposit. PROPANE GAS: A tank for propane gas will be furnished at no charge. Renter will not be responsible for bringing the trailer back with a full propane tank. Renter assumes all responsibility for the use of the propane. Propane bottles may not be exchanged if they must be refilled. WIRING: Rental trailers are equipped with electric brakes and a 7-way harness. All tow vehicles must be equipped with electric brake control units. HITCH: I furnish a complete weight distributing hitch and sway control. Trailers must be pulled with a 2" frame mounted class III receiver hitch. I will test drive the unit after it is hooked up and give operating instructions. Please Note: The Travel Trailer will not leave the premises unless hitch, brake and lighting requirements are met in full. SAFETY: The renter will follow all the laws and drive in a safe manner while towing the travel trailer. The safe, normal towing speed is 55 mph. As weather or road conditions warrant, slower speeds are recommended. HOURS OF SERVICE: Trailers should be picked up between 9:00 am and 3:00 PM Monday thru Friday. RENTALS MAY NOT BE PICKED UP ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY FOR ANY REASON. Rentals may be returned at any time. It is best to contact me in advance. If we are closed, park the trailer on the west side of the yard. It is the renter's responsibility to insure that all provided items are accounted for and properly stored and locked. The unit will not be checked in until Monday or the next working day. Please make an appointment for a pick-up time, either a morning pick-up or afternoon pick-up when you make a reservation. DEMONSTRATION & CHECK OUT PROCEDURE: Please be aware that it may take up to an hour to pick -up the trailer. Please allow time for us to go through the trailer and demonstrate the operation of it. You will be required to sign an inspection sheet citing the condition of the trailer. If you see something damaged, bring it to our attention and we will repair it or make a note of it so you will not be held responsible. "IT WAS LIKE THAT WHEN I GOT IT" will not be an acceptable excuse to keep from paying for damages if not noted on the inspection sheet. PAYMENT: Deposits and rent are payable in full in advance or at the time of pick-up. Rent will be charged for each night the unit is the possession of the renter. Rental day ends at 5:00pm. Rental deposits that are made within 7 days of pick-up time must be paid by cash, Cashier's Check or Money Order. I do not accept any out of town personal checks for the rental fee. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR TRAILERS BROUGHT BACK EARLY because we have to make other rental reservations based on the dates that the renter said he would have the unit. Cash is the preferred method of payment. Deposits are not refunded for 10 business days after a trailer is returned if any part of the rent or deposit was paid by check. Previous renters excepted. EQUIPMENT: The trailers are 29' long and weigh approximately 4,700 pounds empty. All are equipped with an air conditioner, 2-way double door refrigerator, TV, furnace, 3 burner stovetop with oven, power awning, power stabilizer jacks, power tongue jack, 2 spare tires, electrical 110v adapters, water, and sewer hoses.
One smaller lightweight trailer (under 3,000 pounds) is available for the smaller tow vehicles.
